Time: 1 hour 45 minutes of riding
(warm up, endurance, tempo, climbing, cool down)
The ride starts at Monkey Cup on 118th Street & Adam Clayton Powell Jr Blvd. Please arrive at 7:30am. We roll out at 7:45 AM sharp for a ride to the upper Westside and head uptown passing through the Washington Heights neighborhood before crossing over the George Washington Bridge onto River Road. We ride along the Hudson River with long stretches and a few climbs. Challenge yourself on the Alpine with the group for a PR.
This ride is open to novice and experienced cyclists. Total ride will be 30 miles with a total of 2000ft of climbing.
Bring a helmet, a water bottle and food for yourself along with tools to repair your bike in the event that anything goes south. Mount day time running lights for safety and wear gloves if available. I always recommend a cycling computer with Strava or Smartphone App to record your efforts and share with the group.
